The founders of The Capitol are the 21 partners of Capital Gain, which consists of  Joseph Armand, LaTesha Brewton, Nate Greer-Parr, Jessica Harris, Porsche Harris, Jonie Jefferson, Florence Kananura, Freda Kigongo, Chasisty Lard, Linzee Locke, Shandrea Lyons, Ortavia McCoy, Jamila Mentuhotep, Bryan Mitchell, Ja`Rod Morris, Latisha Roane, Jonovan Robinson, Ashley Sims, Willie Smith, and Lessie Wilkens. Each partner has contributed $71,429of their own money for research and start-up costs. Ja’Rod Morris is the General Manager and Joseph Armand is the Assistant Manager. A suitable site for the first restaurant was found last month and lease negotiations are in the final stages. The location will be on the Service Road in Ruston, behind Chili’s Restaurant and next to the Ronnie Ward car dealership and close to a dense population of the target market. Once the lease is signed there will be three months of free rent for renovation. With that phase completed, The Capitol Restaurant can then open, on the expected date of March 1, 2005, and the operations phase of the project can begin
